A visual identity built to carry a growing movement.

Content For Good & Co is a community and media hub for marketers and communicators who believe their creativity can drive positive change for people and the planet.

Their new visual identity needed to reflect a significant strategic shift in their brand; they were transitioning from a marketing agency to a consultancy and subsequently an NGO.

Their visuals therefore needed to communicate the energy and credibility of the movement they were building, whilst directly speaking to their growing community of sustainable marketers.

The approach

We started off with an in-depth workshop covering the brand's foundations, strategy and future direction. I then researched the sustainable marketing landscape to understand the dominant visual conventions and where space existed to differentiate.

The research phase then extended to Content For Good & Co's own community. A survey was conducted to understand which visual directions and brand mood boards resonated with the audience the most. Two brand mood boards were created for this survey, which brought the community directly into the creative direction phase of the project.

With those insights, an initial concept was designed and refined through close collaboration with founder Megan. The result was a visual identity that disrupted the sustainable marketing industry, whilst being able to hold the trust of a community that cares deeply about authenticity.

The identity was extended across web illustrations, social media and presentation templates, LinkedIn banners, newsletter headers, and a growing suite of print assets including infographics, post-cards, and bookmarks.

The outcomes

Content For Good & Co now has a visual identity that can hold the full breadth of what they are building. Since the rebrand, they have grown into a thriving community; running workshops, talks, webinars, and conducting original research.

Most significantly, Content For Good & Co is now in the process of formally registering as an NGO in Germany; a milestone that marks a decisive step towards creating an even bigger movement.
