Visual Identity Design

A visual identity is the comprehensive set of visuals that represent your organisation. I'll work with you throughout the design process to create a visual identity that aligns with your values and  amplifies your message, creating more impact.

Across an 8 week period we'll craft a new visual identity and comprehensive suite of visual assets for your organisation.

In order to work with me on a new visual identity design, you should have a good understanding of your brand foundations. These are the core values, purpose and overall mission that your brand is built upon. You'll also want to be clear on who your target audiences are, and what differentiates you from similar organisations.

Here's the process we will go through to design your visual identity:

How it works

Phase 1: Brand Discovery

For me to fully understand your brand, we'll discuss your brand foundations (your vision, mission, and values etc.), the struggles you're having with your visuals, your objectives for the visual identity design, and any initial design ideas or requirements.

Phase 2: Strategy & Research

To ensure your final visuals communicate the right message to the right people, I can then conduct a design survey for your target audience/stakeholders. This will be done alongside industry research, to assess the predominate design style of similar organisations. I'll then devise a strategy of how we will meet the key objectives of the project, and put together two distinct mood boards that we could use to inspire the design.

Phase 3: Creative Direction

I'll then put together an initial concept for your visual identity that will explore colours, fonts, graphic elements, and the overall feeling for your brand.

Phase 4: Visual Identity Design

Once hearing your feedback, I will continue the design process, designing a full suite of logos, icons, and graphic elements.

Phase 5: Branded Asset & Template Design

Once the visual identity design has been finalised, I'll start applying the new design to your brand collateral, creating templates, and putting together your brand guidelines document.

Yes, I can also help you out with a visual brand refresh, just get in touch and we can see what we can do.

Usually I take 70% of the project price upfront, and 30% at the end of the project - via bank transfer, in either GBP or EUR.

The design process contains a lot of information gathering, strategy, and feedback from you. This is so I can create designs that perform well for your brand. There are 3 rounds of revisions to the visual identity and designed assets included so you can voice your feedback and request amendments. If you still aren't happy, I will re-quote to make more changes.

No, I don't offer website design through Metari Design. However I can put you in touch with my trusted web design partner who will use the visual identity and brand guidelines we create to produce an on-brand and strategic website for you.

We will have online meetings throughout the project. The rest will be communicated via video and pdf presentations. I am available to contact via email from Monday to Friday.

I provide logo files in .png, .svg, .pdf, and an .ai source file. Your social media post and slide deck templates will be provided as Canva files, or PowerPoint/Google Slides on request. You can always request different file types and I will be more than happy to provide these too.

Visual identity design will require about 4 hours of your time across an 8 week period.
